Who is Jesus? (The Nicene Creed)

This year marks the 1700 anniversary of the Council of Nicea. As we look back at the Creed that eas developed from this initial Council, what does it have to teach us today?

The big question at that time was about the identity of Jesus: if Jesus is God, what does that mean, and how does this change our understanding of who God is?

After decades of debate anbd discussion, the result is what we know as the Nicene Creed - a declaration of what "we believe". This was then, and is now, the defining statment on what is required of true belivers in Jesus. Is answers the question, "Who is Jesus?", and at the same time asks us, "Who is Jesus? What do you believe?"
